Introduction

The word “ethnography” can refer to the written report of the research that the ethnographer produces afterwards. Ethnography focuses on interpretation, understanding and representation.

Challenge

Traditions can vanish as culture changes, or may change so much as to become unrecognizable. Society depends on folklorists, ethnomusicologists, anthropologists and other ethnographers to capture detailed accounts of the lives and practices of various cultures as told via oral tradition. Our researchers aspire to create ethnographies of a particular culture immersed in the experiences of that culture as a “participant observer.”

"The meals we received gave my children strength and allowed me to focus on rebuilding our lives.” — Amina, food relief recipient"
Problem
  • Malnourishment in children leads to developmental delays.

  • Families in crisis struggle to afford daily meals.

  • Food deserts limit access to fresh and affordable produce.

Solution

We work to fight hunger through:

01. Food Distribution Programs

Delivering meals to families and shelters.

02. Community Kitchens

Offering hot, nutritious meals in safe spaces.

03. Support for Local Farmers

Strengthening food systems from the ground up.

04. Nutrition Awareness Campaigns

Educating families on healthy eating.
